Once again returning to Seattle, Chris was the keynote speaker at THRIVE, a Woodland Park Zoo special event. He also participated in the annual Tulip Ride for charity which raised over $25,000USD for the Red Cross and Humane Society. Just across the Canadian border, Chris spoke in Whistler, B.C. at an event for Coast to Cascades who hope to replenish the Southern B.C. grizzly bear population through protection of vital habitats, the health of which may lead to a permanent Cascades population in the US. Then it was back across the ocean AGAIN to film the puffins of Bonnie Scot- land for an episode of PBS Nature.
